Preliminary March 6th Election Results; Three Local Races Yet to be Decided (All Boxes IN)

***Update*** Election results are all in and three county races are yet to be decided. There will be two run-off races in the County due to no candidate in each race receiving over 50% of the vote. In the Shelby County Commissioner Pct 4 race, incumbent Bradley Allen (48.71%) and opponent Tom Bellmyer (32.88%) will have to wait until the May 22, 2018 for the Primary Runoff Election. The second race to be pushed into a runoff is the race for the Justice of the Peace Pct 1 position. Incumbent Melissa Crouch received 43.52% of the votes and opponent Randy Robertson received 29.32% of the votes.

The Justice of the Peace Pct 4 race won't be decided until the November 2018 Election day when Jackie Kirkwood (REP) will be on the same ballot with Jenny L. Hicks (DEM) which was the only race on the County level to have both Democratic and Republican candidates.

March 6, 2018 - Election day voting time is over and ballots are being counted as boxes from election polling locations are coming in. All local elections will be decided during the March Primary as the majority of candidates filed with the Republican party except for one. Only the race for Justice of the Peace PCT 4 had a Democratic candidate resulting in their matchup being in November.

Election results are below. Check back as the numbers will be updated as boxes come in. (All Boxes IN)
