February 7, 2022 - Officials with the National Forests and Grasslands in Texas, Sabine National Forest, have advised a prescribed burn today located in Compartments 102 and 103, Block A & B, 2,179 acres, with Helicopter support. One location (Block A) is at the end of Forest Service Road 115/SAB-Bayou Road, 115A and SAB Busby point road. The other location, (Block B) Indian Mounds Recreation area. Winds are predicted from the North at 5-13 mph. Please drive with caution. Also, we advised and long range drift SMOKE may affect some of the areas.
