Volleyball Scores
The Lady Rider Volleyball freshman team lost to Colmesneil on August 23, 2016 by 23/25; 23/25. The Junior Varisty Volleyball team won 25/13; 25/13. The Varsity team lost 25/16; 23/25; 22/25; 25/18; 8/15.
They competed against San Augustine on August 27th and the Junior Varsity and Varsity defeated both San Augustine teams. JV won 25/11; 25/13 and Varsity won 25/19; 25/18; 25/20.
Roughrider Football
The Roughriders play the Gilmer Buckeyes on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 7:30pm at Jeff Traylor Stadium, 308 N. Bradford Street, Gilmer, Texas.
Pre-game ticket sales are Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the Center High School and CISD Administration offices.
Ticket prices for pre-game are $5.00 Adults and $3.00 Students. At the gate prices are $7.00 for school aged children 5 thru adults.
Mega Raffle
2016 Center Athletic Booster Mega Raffle powered by Shelby Savings Bank has great prizes to be awarded including Win 1 (of 20) 45 quart Yeti Coolers to be drawn and 1 Cooler will have a cash bonus of $1,000 inside!
Raffle tickets are available at all Varsity Home Football Games and the Roughrider Athletic Office – Center High School. Tickets are $20.00 each OR 6 for $100.00. The drawing will be held during half-time on Friday, October 21, 2016 at Roughrider Stadium during the Center Roughriders versus Henderson Lions game. Proceeds benefit ALL CISD athletic programs.
