June 2, 2015 - The President’s Award for Educational Achievement is given to recognize students who show outstanding educational growth, improvement, commitment or intellectual development in their academic subjects but do not meet the criteria for the President’s Award for Educational Excellence. This award is meant to encourage and reward students who work hard and put forth their best effort in all academic areas.
The following student received the Presidential Award for Educational Achievement and also letters of congratulations from the President and Mrs. Obama and the Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan: Shiloh Amburn, Shane Schilder, and Myla Wagstaff.
