April 27, 2018 - Officials with the National Forests and Grasslands in Texas, Sabine National Forest, have advised a prescribed burn located in Compartments 29/34/35, 2197 acres (Block C & D ) in Shelby County. This area is located near Dreka, off of FM Highways 139 & 3184. Please use caution and turn your lights on.

Winds will be Northwest at 4 mph gusting to 8 mph.
Ignition time of 10:30am and completion estimated at 5:30pm with helicopter assistant.
