December 2, 2016 - With Santa’s Christmas Parade scheduled for Saturday, December 3 at 6:00 p.m. the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade committee is in communication with City officials and the National Weather Service to monitor conditions.
With a forecast of inclement weather, every effort is being made to avoid any danger due to extreme harmful weather conditions for parade entrants, vendors, as well as attendees. The safety of all is of utmost priority.
Since postponement is not a practical option, the committee will make a decision at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon if an unavoidable cancellation is deemed necessary. Please refer to media websites or Shelby Chamber Facebook page for final determination.
