Sassy Red's Bakery Ribbon Cutting

April 19, 2015 - Sassy Red's Bakery on the Center square held a ribbon cutting on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 with the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors on hand and members of the community to celebrate the business.

Pam Phelps, Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, and Meg Camp, Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassador President, welcomed Sassy Red's Bakery owner Cindy Lindsey.

"We're glad to be on Shelbyville Street here today at Little Fox Market Place to welcome Sassy Red's Bakery and that we've all enjoyed and continue to enjoy and will continue to spread the word of all your creations," said Phelps.

Lindsey described her bakery as a place that can provide whatever may be desired and she is trying new things all the time. She says the bakery has a regular supply of cupcakes, cookies and custom cakes are a regular thing for all occasions including weddings and birthdays.

"We are very, very glad you are here. What a wonderful fresh store to be right here on the square, and I enjoy following your Facebook page and I love to look at all the cakes and how beautiful they are," said Camp.

During the event, those who attended were able to partake of refreshments developed in the bakery. Sassy Red's Bakery is located inside Little Fox Market Place at 101 Shelbyville Street on the Center square. The bakery is open from 9am-5pm daily.
