SC Commissioners’ Court Regular Meeting Agenda, June 14

June 9, 2023 - Notice is hereby given that a Regular meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 14th day of June, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:

1. Approve the minutes of May 3, 2023 Special meeting, May 10, 2023 Regular meeting, May 17, 2023 Special meeting, May 24, 2023 Special meeting, May 31, 2023 of the Shelby County Commissioner’s Court.

2. Approve and pay weekly expenses.

3. Approve Officers Report.

4. Public comments on Agenda item.

5. Bobby Daw to give update on the Expo Center.

6. Chief Deputy Ruth Gonzales with the Sheriff’s Office to give update on the jail.

7. Discuss and possibly approve a partnership between the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department and the Shelby County Children’s Advocacy Center to utilize investigative equipment owned by the SCCAC to assist in phone extraction to be utilized in cases involving crimes against children.

8. Discuss and take action on FY2023 Budget Line-Item Transfers.

9. Discuss and possibly approve an Amendment To Pharmacy Benefit Management Services for Shelby County Indigent Healthcare.

10. Discuss and possibly approve Commissioner Pct. 2 to purchase a 2023 Brazos 40’ Pit Boss Belly Dump trailer with ARPA finds.

11. Review all Quotes for Pct 3 Excavator.

12. Open sealed bid for Road and Bridge Pct. 3 County Barn and possibly accept.

13. Discuss and possibly approve Road and Bridge Pct.#3 to seek bids through the BuyBoard for the following equipment:

36’ digging bucket 
over more than 50 hp
Less than 21,000 pounds operation weight
Outside trackwidth less than 91 inches

14. Discuss and possibly make a decision on the Sealed bids that were opened on May 24th on a 2012 through 2022 Truck Tractor tandem-axel 400 plus HP in good condition used or new for Commissioner Pct. 3.
