June 16, 2023 - Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 21st day of June, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve and pay weekly expenses.
2. Public comments on Agenda item.
3. Approve Current Payroll.
4. Discuss compensation for Sherry Riley to manage the weddings held at the 1885 Historic Courthouse.
5. Veterans Service Office to request funds to cover expenses of upcoming training conferences.
6. Constable Pct.5 to request funds from the court to purchase new tires.
7. Discuss and possibly approve the Emergency Notification System Interlocal Agreement with DETCOG.
8. Appoint two' (2) DETCOG Board Members to represent Shelby County on the Board of Directors for FY 2023-2024.
9. Review all Quotes for Pct 3 Road & Bridge Excavator and award bid.
10. Adjourn.
