September 8, 2023 - Notice is hereby given that a Regular meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 13th day of September, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve the minutes of August 2, 2023 Special meeting, August 9, 2023 Regular meeting, August 16, 2023 Special meeting, August 23, 2023 Special meeting, August 30, 2023 Special meeting, August 30, 2023 Budget Workshop of the Shelby County Commissioner’s Court.
2. Approve and pay weekly expenses.
3. Approve and pay current Payroll.
4. Approve Officers Report.
5. Public comments on Agenda item.
6. Discuss and consider the Declaration and Order Prohibiting Outdoor Burning.
7. Discuss and possibly take action to disperse the Capital Credits for the FY2022 to the Shelby County Children’s Advocacy Center.
8. Approve and Sign Order of Special Election to be held November 7, 2023.
9. Accept and record the Judicial Education Record for the County Judge for her educational requirements.
10. Discuss and possibly approve the repair and painting of all ceilings on the first floor of the Historic Courthouse by Paul Hagler, with the payment of $43,050.00 to be paid from the LATCF Fund # 39.
11. Discuss and possibly take action on scheduling the September 20th Commissioners Court meeting.
