February 16, 2024 - Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 21st day of February, 2024 at 9:30am in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve and pay weekly expenses.
2. Public comments on Agenda item.
3. Commissioner Pct 4 to discuss road closure of CR 4059 from FM 1645 to CR 4020 for the purpose of removing a culvert and building a bridge. Closure of CR 4059 will be a minimum of 2 weeks beginning Monday Feb 26th, 2024.
4. Commissioner Pct 4 to discuss the purchase of a truck, referencing Local Government Code 262.0225, subsection D and Local Government Code 262.0245.
5. Record Racial Profiling Report for Shelby County Constable. Pct 4.
6. Discuss and possibly approve additional and emergency lighting for the County Courthouse that was not included in the original quote.
