May 19, 2023 - Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 24th day of May, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve and pay weekly expenses.
2. Public comments on Agenda item.
3. Approve current payroll.
4. Discuss and possibly approve the Order/Resolution authorizing approval of proposed Texas Statewide Opioid Settlement Agreement.
5. Presentation of the Shelby County Fiscal Year 2022 Annual Financial Report by Eric Carver, C.P.A. with Axley & Rode, LLP.
6. Open Sealed bids on 2012 through 2022 Truck Tractor tandem-axel 400 plus HP in good condition used or new for Commissioner Pct. 3.
7. Lt. Chad Hooper, Chief Deputy Ruth Gonzales, and Josh Tipton to address the court in reference to purchasing an antenna and repeater, for the Timpson area.
8. Discuss and possibly approve Road and Bridge Pct.#3 to seek bids through the BuyBoard for the following equipment:
