May 19, 2017 - (Album) - A first responder appreciation luncheon hosted by the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce (SCCC) and Center ISD was held at the Center ISD bus barn on Friday, May 19, 2017.
Members of law enforcement, area fire departments, and EMS personnel were treated to barbecue chicken, sausage, beans and potato salad prepared by Center ISD Police Chief Pete Low.
At the onset of the event, Shelby County Sheriff's Chief DJ Dickerson led the gathering in prayer. SCCC Ambassadors helped serve during the event, offering attendees tea and water to accompany their meal, as well as dessert. The event was held from 11am until 1pm and was presented by McAdams Propane, and included multiple table sponsors which were recognized at the event.
