October 17, 2017 - The Shelby County Bass Anglers will hold the final meeting of the 2017 season Tuesday, Oct. 17th at 7pm at the residence of Jason Wells, SCBA President. All the yearly points have been totaled and the the top teams will battle it out in the two day Norris Askew Classic Championship which will be held Saturday on Sam Rayburn and Sunday on Toledo Bend.
In addition to the championship, there will be a Calcutta auction at the meeting with each team being sold to the highest bidder. The money raised in the auction will be kept separate and will payout 100% to the winning three bidders. The championship payout will also payout three places to the teams with the most accumulative weight for both days combined.
The public is invited to attend this auction, so bring a lawn chair and come join in on the fun and excitement.
The annual SCBA awards banquet is slated for Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the Windham Civic Center.
