January 29, 2018 - All fire departments in Shelby County, aside from Timpson VFD, have been dispatched and are currently fighting grass fires January 29, 2018.
At this time a burn ban has not yet been presented for action at commissioners' court; however, residents should use extreme caution when burning, and when possible, consider burning at a later date to prevent fire from getting out of control.
