April 15, 2016 - Shelbyville JV Boys team placed 3rd over all at the Beckville District 22-2A Meet. John Sims placed 2nd in the 100 M Dash, as well as the 200 M Dash. AB Gonzales placed 3rd in both the 800 M Run and the 1600 M Run. Seth Sanders also placed 4th in the 800 M Run, and 2nd in the 1600 M Run.
Shelbyville Varsity Boys placed 5th overall. LaBravion Thomas placed 6th in the 100 M Dash and the 200 M Dash. Joseph Wheeler placed 3rd in the 200 M Dash and 4th in the long jump. Many Jackson placed 6th in the 400 M Dash, 3rd in the 800 M Run. Ben Swearengen placed 3rd in the 400 M Dash. Kurktrick Allen placed 5th in the 800 M Run. H'leighen placed 6th in the 800 M Run and 3rd in the 1600 M Run. Trenton Roland placed 6th in the 110 M Hurdles. Jacobi Jackson placed 5th in the 4x100 M Relay, and 4th in the 4x200 M Relay. Charles Kirkwood placed 3rd in the long jump. Joseph Wheeler placed 4th in the long jump. Logan Vickers placed 5th in the Shot Put.
Shelbyville Varsity Girls placed 2nd overall at the Beckville Meet. Jasmine Osby placed 3rd in the 100 M Dash. Belinda Bohannon placed 3rd in the 200 M Dash, 1st in the 4x400 M Relay. Tori Babin placed 2nd 400 M Dash. Keana Osby placed 1st in the 800 M Run. Harley Hinton placed 5th in the 100 M Hurdles, 6th in the 300 M Hurdles. Hannah Hall placed 1st in the 300 M Hurdles. Cleosha Jeter placed 1st in the 4x100 and 4x200 Relays, 4th in the long jump and 2nd in the triple jump. Jakyra Ross placed 1st in the long jump. Bailey Rabalais placed 2nd in the Shot Put and 1st in the Discus. Faith Ridgeway placed 6th in the Shot Put. Katie Casey placed 3rd in the Shot Put. Madison Taylor placed 6th in the Discus.
