March 26, 2024 - Shelbyville High School students competed at the Texas Math and Science Coaches Association - State Meet in San Antonio on March 23, 2024.
The Number Sense team earned 2nd place team in the 1A/2A division. Individually, Kason Parker earned 1st place in the senior division and had the highest overall Number Sense score for 1A/2A, Malachi Sierra earned 1st place in the Junior division, Ethan Jackson earned 2nd place in the sophomore division, Aiden Swindle earned 4th place in the freshman division, and Rylan Barbee earned 10th place in the freshman division.
The coach for the math team is Cole Harrison.
