Sheriff's Department Seeking Whereabouts of Brittany Barber (Arrested)

May 31, 2018 - Barber was arrested at 1:50 p.m. Wednesday, May 30 in Joaquin by Pct. 3 Constable Roy Cheatwood. She was booked into the Shelby County Jail on warrants for Assault Causing Bodily Injury (M-A) $2,500 bond and Theft of Property (M-B) $1,500 bond.


May 30, 2018 - The Shelby County Sheriff’s is once again seeking the whereabouts of Brittany Celine Barber, 30, of Joaquin. Barber is described as a 5’4” white female and weighs approximately 120 pounds. She has black hair and hazel eyes. Barber has an active misdemeanor warrant for Assault Causing Bodily Injury (M-A).

The SCSO is seeking assistance of the public with locating Barber. If you have any information regarding her whereabouts, please contact the SCSO (936) 598-5601.

If anyone is found to be hindering the apprehension, harboring or concealing, providing or aiding with any means of avoiding arrest or effecting escape, or warns Barber of impending discovery or apprehension, will be arrested and charged in accordance to Penal Code 38.05 Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution, a Felony 3 offense.
