March 6, 2023 - The Gateway to Texas Chapter of the Sons of the Republic of Texas will have a memorial medallion marking ceremony for W.B. "Buddy" Harrison, a longtime member of the chapter, this Saturday, March 11 afternoon at 1:00 at the Corley-Harrison Cemetery near Tenaha.
Members of the Chapter will meet at 12:30pm for a short business meeting. To reach the cemetery take US Hwy 59S from the light in Tenaha (toward Timpson) about 7/10 of a mile to FM 2141, turn left and go about 1 1/2 miles. The driveway (on the right) will be marked. Friends and family are invited to join us.
