July 28, 2016 - Lynn Ferry-Nelson has been named Manager, External Affairs in Longview for AEP Southwestern Electric Power Company (SWEPCO), and will be responsible for community relations activities in East Texas. She replaces Keith Honey, who retired May 31 after 35 years of service with SWEPCO. Ferry-Nelson had been serving as senior manager, performance management and project support for Southern California Edison Company since 2009.
Ferry-Nelson has more than 25 years of utility regulatory and commission experience, and has worked for the Oklahoma Corporation Commission, American Electric Power, Cleco Power LLC, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, as well as Transmission and Distribution regulatory operations at Southern Cal Edison.
A native of Huntington Beach, CA, Ferry-Nelson earned a bachelor of business administration degree in finance with honors from New Mexico State University. She has a Project Manager Certification from the University of California at Irvine.
Ferry-Nelson enjoys walking, exercising, gardening, being outdoors, spending time with family, and attending softball and soccer games.
