April 13, 2018 - SWEPCO is ramping up its workforce and making other preparations to respond to power outages that may be caused by the forecasted storm across most of SWEPCO’s three-state service territory. The storms are forecasted to bring wind gusts of up to 60 mph late Friday and early Saturday morning.
SWEPCO has closely monitored the developing storm system for several days; crews are positioned to safely restore power to customers as quickly as possible.
Always assume that any downed utility line is energized. Stay away from any downed line. Report it immediately to SWEPCO at 1-888-218-3919, or call 911.
