Tenaha’s High School BETA Club Adopts a Classroom

October 9, 2017 - The BETA club adopted a Math class at Hardin-Jefferson Middle School in Sour Lake, Texas after learning that the Middle School lost everything in their classes due to recent flooding from Hurricane Harvey. The entire Middle School, field house and concession stands were destroyed in the flood. They have moved in portable buildings until a new Middle School can be rebuilt.

Mrs. Farmer and several BETA club members delivered school supplies to Hardin-Jefferson Middle School Wednesday, October 4th. Dena Moorhouse, Hardin-Jefferson teacher, accepted the supplies along with a check in the amount of $150 from the Tenaha Senior Class. Mrs. Moorhouse commented that the contributions will go a long way in providing what her class would need to be successful this year.
