January 22, 2018 - Last month, 26 Tenaha middle school band students and 4 Tenaha high school band students competed for the chance to earn a chair in one of the Region 21 ATSSB All-Region Bands. The Tenaha band students competed against the most talented band students from other 1A-4A schools in this region. All of the Tenaha band students worked hard over several months to prepare audition music for this competition. Each student competed on his or her individual instrument as opposed to competing as an ensemble or group. Those that made the band performed with an “all-star" band that practiced together this past Saturday, and then performed a concert in Chapel Hill the same day. The following students from Tenaha earned a chair in the Region 21-East Zone middle school band, and performed on Saturday:

Congrats to all of these very talented students!
