Tenaha Falls Late to Brook Hill, 33-32

September 7, 2015 A 1-yard touchdown by Brook Hill's quarterback Jordan McGowen , and a crucial extra point kick by Calieb Chadwell, was enough for the BHHS Guards to capture a 33-32 win over the Tenaha Tigers last Friday night.

The Guard trailed 32-19 late but scored two touchdowns in the final 2:27 of the contest.

The Tigers lost in the last minute last week as well to Joaquin by a 38-35 score, and the Tigers now fall to 0-2 on the season.

Much of Brook Hill's success came through the air as quarterback McCray Fletcher completed 19 of 39 passes for 305 yards and two touchdowns.

Tenaha was led by receiver Colton Goeke, who had three catches for 81 yards and three scores. Onterio Thompson rushed for 104 yards on 7 carries and scored once for THS.

The Tigers are open next week.
