April 20, 2018 - The Tenaha high school band performed on April 18th and received a division one from every judge on both the concert stage and in sight-reading for the fifth straight year. This means the band earned a “concert sweepstakes.”
Some of the judges comments were as follows: “Overall well-balanced and pleasing to hear.” “You have many good players.” “Good Style and Contrast.” “Nice job!” “Very nice attention to detail.” “Good full-band sounds!” Our band program continues to grow in discipline, musicianship, and reputation through our performances and ratings.
The Tenaha band program is proving yet again that “It’s Not Okay To Be Okay!”
