December 12, 2014 - On Wednesday, December 10th the 2nd grade classes from Tenaha Elementary went to Nacogdoches for a field trip. They started their adventure at Maroney Park where they enjoyed the wonderful wooden playground. They had lunch at the park before heading over to the campus of Stephen F. Austin State University where they enjoyed a performance by ArtsPower. The students were on the edge of their seats as they watched the exciting play “The Monster Who Ate My Peas.” Mrs. Vick and Mrs. Stacie delighted in watching the joy on each students face as many of them experienced the theatre for the first time. The teachers and all of the students in 2nd grade would like to give a special thanks to our bus driver, Mr. David and to Mrs. Cindy for accompanying us on our trip.
