February 22, 2018 - Each month teachers nominate students that exhibit outstanding qualities in and out of the classroom. Students that are featured each month display leadership skills, inspires others to excel and are committed to promoting a positive attitude towards achieving their goals.
Allison Trejo-Pre-K
Allison is the daughter of Teresa Uribe and Juan Trejo. She enjoys playing in the learning centers. She is always happy. Allison is a great student that always listens to the teacher. Playing with her friends is her favorite thing to do.
Tristan Mendez-1st Grade
Tristan is the son of Jessica and Randy Mendez. His favorite subjects are reading and math. He is a hard working student that possesses a kind and positive attitude. He strives to do his best each day! Tristan enjoys dancing, playing video games and participating in musicals.
Jesus Hernandez-3rd Grade
Jesus is the son of Alejandro and Consuelo Sanchez. His favorite subject is reading. Jesus is always willing to help and do his best. He always has a smile. Jesus loves to play outside with his sister Kitzia on the trampoline.
Alondra Gonzalez-4th Grade
Alondra is the daughter of Salud Flores and Carlos Bustamante. Her favorite subject is reading. Alondra is a kind, hardworking and friendly student. Her favorite thing to do in her spare time is reading books.
Yuliana Perez-5th Grade
Yuliana is the daughter of Francisco and Maria perez. Her favorite subject is math. Yuliana is an excellent student. She is dedicated to doing her best in her classes and she is a favorite among her friends. Her favorite things to do are play with her friends and doing math!
Michael Santana-Grade 6
Michael is the son of Santo Sanchez and Alma Santana. His favorite subject is math. He works very hard and always turns his work in on time. Michael is a great student that always pays attention in class. He gets along great with his classmates. Michael is just an all around good kid! His favorite pastime is playing soccer.
Vanessa Gonzalez-9th Grade
Vanessa is the daughter of Elay Gonzalez. Her favorite subject is English and Science. She enjoys playing on the High School soccer team. Her plans upon graduation is to attend a university and become a psychiatrist.
Jairo Zelaya Cuba
Jairo lives with his sister and brother, Dilcia Zelaya and Angel Zelaya. His favorite subject is welding. He enjoys participating in soccer, cross country, track and football. After Jairo graduates he would like to attend college and one day become a business entrepreneur.
