March 24, 2017 - Tenaha Kindergarten classes took a field trip to Naranjo Museum in Lufkin, Texas.
The students enjoyed a tour of the museum learning about dinosaurs! Exhibits viewed by the students included the Strata Wall, Precambrian fossils, Cambrian exhibit, Dunkleosteus, Triassic Period, Jurassic Period, Permian Period, Devonian Period, and more. A dig pit gave them an opportunity to use brushes to find replica fossils of actual museum fossils.
