April 19, 2018 - Each month teachers nominate students that exhibit outstanding qualities in and out of the classroom. Students that are featured each month display leadership skills, inspires others to excel and are committed to promoting a positive attitude towards achieving their goals.
Jose’ Ramirez - Pre-Kindergarten
Jose’ is the son of Adriana Monroy and Juan Ramirez. He enjoys playtime. He has a great smile and likes to hug. He loves to play in the building center. He also loves motorcycles.
Mae Blackshire - Kindergarten
Mae is the daughter of Stephanie Glenn and Carlos Blackshire. Her favorite subject is reading. Mae is always kind to others. She does the right thing and always tries her best. Her favorite things to do are play ball and eat ice cream!
Danny Flores - 2nd Grade
Danny is the son of Jesus and Maria Flores. His favorite subject is reading. Danny is such a hard worker. He always tries his best and helps others. His favorite things to do are play Mario and playing outside.
Tatyana Adams - 5th Grade
Tatyana is the daughter of Laverne Tutt. Her favorite subject is writing. She is quiet and very focused on her school work. Tatyana always givers her best in everything she does. She loves to be outside playing basketball and hanging out with her friends.
Evan Plata - 7th Grade
Evan is the son of Anna and David Plata. His favorite subject is Math. He is an excellent student and enjoys being a member of the band and Cross Country team. His favorite past time is running and spending time with his family and friends. Evan plans on attending college upon graduating high school.
Cynthia Hernandez - 8th Grade
Cynthia is the daughter of Catalina and Juan Hernandez. Her favorite subject is Reading. Cynthia is an active member of the Beta Club, Cross Country and Band. Her plans after graduating High School are to attend c college and earn a degree in Occupational Therapy.
Arturo Rico - 9th Grade
Arturo is the son of Delfina and Arturo Rico. His favorite subject is Algebra I. Arturo is a member of the Cross Country team and the Soccer team. After graduating high school Arturo plans on attending college.
Christasha Suell - 11th Grade
Christasha is the daughter of Taneisa Walker. Christasha’s favorite subject is math. She is an active member of the Beta Club. She is a member of the Roarin’ Band from Tiger Land and she plays Lady Tiger basketball. Her plans after graduating high school are to attend college and earn her master’s degree in Social Work.
