Texas State Bank Honors Joaquin High School Students Who Make a Difference


 May 9, 2015 - Thursday night, May 7, 2015 was a most memorable evening as Texas State Bank honored several Joaquin High School graduating seniors. The event was held in the Windham Civic Center. Mr. Gerald Mackey, Vice President of TSB welcomed the students, parents and chosen teachers.  A most delicious steak dinner was served.

Following dinner, each student spoke of how their chosen teacher had made a difference in their life. Next, each teacher explained why the seven seniors were chosen.  This event is an annual event that started under Mark Ivey, when he was appointed President of TSB several years ago.  Mary Cummings, VP of TSB, organizes this project.  Texas State Bank proudly honors these students, their parents and chosen teachers.
