January 11, 2018 - Timpson Area Chamber of Commerce will begin the 2018 year with its annual membership Banquet January 18th at the Community Building in SoSo Park, Timpson Texas beginning at 5:30 pm.
Dinner will be served and we are very excited about having Jenna Armstrong, President and CEO for Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce, for our guest speaker.
Everyone interested in our community is welcome and should attend. Members please bring 10 dollars each to help with the meal, non-members $12 each. There will be no charge for 2017 Gold level members. We would very much appreciate you letting us know if you plan to attend. Please rsvp by January 12th in order to plan for food and seating. Speaker: Jenna Armstrong, IOM
Jenna Armstrong is the President & CEO of the Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce. Her 14 year Chamber career began at the Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber in 2003. She graduated from the U.S. Chamber’s Midwest Institute of Organization Management in 2011. She currently serves on the Executive Board for the Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives, the U.S. Chamber Foundation’s Board of Regents for Midwest Institute, and the Humble ISD Education Foundation. In 2014 she was awarded the “Distinguished Service Award” by the Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives (TCCE). In 2015, the Lake Houston Area Chamber was one of three finalists for Association of Chamber of Commerce Executive’s Chamber of the Year for North America. Armstrong holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Stephen F. Austin State University. She is a small town girl, growing up in the Central ISD school system in Pollok, TX. She has a seven-year-old daughter, Drew, and a four-year-old son, Beau.
