June 4, 2019 - Timpson ISD Bear Update
FFA News - 2019 Poultry Festival Entry Forms are now available in the Ag Shop with Ms. Hooper. The acknowledgement form, entry form, and payment in the form of cash or check (made out to "Shelby Co. 4-H/FFA Youth Inc. Broiler Show) are due back to Ms. Hooper by June 30, 2019. The Poultry Festival broiler show will be held October 5, 2019 and the Chickens will arrive about 7 weeks before that. Please contact Ms. Hooper at mhooper@timpsonisd.com with any questions or concerns regarding the Poultry Festival.
XtraMath Multiplication - The 3rd grade students in the attached photo finished XtraMath Multiplication with a score of 100%! Mrs. Ramsey is proud of their hard work this year! Congratulations, 3rd Graders!!

Scholarships Awarded - Timpson High School seniors received over $320,000 in scholarships on May 16th at the THS Scholarship Program. Faculty and staff welcomed nearly 40 representatives to the auditorium stage where they presented the Class of 2019 with awards. Seniors who have earned welding and CNA certifications were recognized, as well as those receiving “Honors” or “High Honors”. Upon graduation, many students will attend Stephen F. Austin Statue University, Sam Houston State University, LaTourneau University, Panola College, Angelina College, TSTC or Oklahoma Horseshoeing School. Others have necessary skills and certifications to enter the workforce where they will be very successful.
