October 9, 2018 - The Timpson FFA Heifer Show team is on fire this month. They recently competed at the East Texas State Fair in Tyler, Texas and we had 5 students exhibit 9 heifers and a steer.
Results:
- Baylor Kimbro: Grand Champion Santa Gertrudis, Reserve Grand Champion Santa Gertrudis, Class winner in the Star-5 Show, and was given a callback by the judge for showmanship in both breeds. Baylor also won Reserve Grand Champion ABC Steer.
- Ally Kimbro: Had a class winner and a 2nd place in the Santa Gertrudis Show, and received a callback for showmanship.
- Brecken Kimbro: Had a first place in class during the Santa Gertrudis show and also received a callback for showmanship!
- Mayson Harbison was second in his class in the Santa Gertrudis show.
- Cale Cornelius also had a class winner with the Santa Gertrudis Show.
We are very proud of how these students are representing Timpson FFA!
