May 7, 2020 - Timpson High School introduces the graduating class of 2020. Timpson HS Valedictorian is Ashlynn Lindgren and the Salutatorian is Sadie Ramsey.
Ashlynn Lindgren is the daughter of Ronald and Darla Lindgren, and the granddaughter of W.A. and the late Maebell Lindgren, and Horace and Dorothy Fletcher. She is graduating Valedictorian with a GPA of 100.0969 and 31 college credit hours.
She has been a member of the THS Bear Band for 6 years and served as Drum Major for 2 years. Ashlynn has also been a varsity cheerleader for 4 years, FFA officer 3 years, and a FCCLA member. She was on the All A Honor Roll for 4 years as well as serving as the Beta Club President for 1 year. She was also a member of the Book Club, Junior Chamber of Commerce, and served as a class officer both Sophomore and Senior years.
Ashlynn also was voted FCCLA Sweetheart during her Junior year, and Band Sweetheart during Senior year for the Homecoming festivities.
Ashlynn plans to move to College Station, Texas and attend Texas A&M University where she will pursue a degree in Psychology.
Sadie RaeAnn Ramsey is the daughter of James and Summer Ramsey. Her grandparents include Larry and Kathy Ramsey, and Buzz and Teresa Murdick. Her great-grandparents are Bobby and Iris Bailey, and Jackie Ramsey. She will graduate with a GPA of 97.7582 and 47 college hours.
She attends Corinth Missionary Church. She is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She participated in THS softball, volleyball, track, and cross country.
She was recognized as “First Team All District” as well as “Newcomer of the Year” in softball. In cross country, Sadie advanced to the regional and state meet. Sadie was the President of her class for two years, Vice President for one year, and Treasurer for one year. She was the homecoming senior duchess for her class.
Upon graduation, Sadie plans to attend Texas A&M and major in Business Management.
