Bear Band Impresses at NAMMB Competition
The THS Bear Band earned a first division rating from all five judges Saturday, at the National Association of Military Marching Bands (NAMMB) contest at Stephen F. Austin State University, and received the coveted “Bobby Goff Superior Performance Award.” The Bear Band also received the “Colonel Joe Tom Haney Award” for First Place in Class 2A at the competition! The band is under the direction of Mr. Deshmond Johnson and Mr. James Trammell. Way to go Bear Band!
