March 20, 2018 - Timpson ISD has completed the second phase of their Bond Improvements. The softball team started the season at their new field. The new facilities include a covered batting cage with storage, concessions and restrooms, along with masonry dugouts. The District’s architect, McKinley Golden Architects worked alongside Dr. Mid Johnson, Timpson ISD superintendent, Coach Jordan and Coach Campbell, to assure student athletes have the best possible facilities such as a netting and brick back backstop. To keep cost in line the existing lights were relocated to the new field. The Construction Manager, Berry & Clay, worked diligently to complete the project before the season started.
