THS Softball Game Canceled
The Timpson High School softball game today, March 8, 2016 against Mt. Enterprise has been canceled due to weather conditions.
TISD Bond Bits
The TISD Bond would include the construction of a new 13,000 square foot career and vocational facility. The new structure would house our Agriculture Science courses providing space for numerous projects and extra classrooms. This facility would allow the district to pursue new state requirements for vocational education training for students.

Baylor Kimbro of Timpson FFA showed the Reserve Champion American Division Heifer, the Grand Champion County Bred Heifer, and the Reserve Grand Champion County Bred Heifer of the show. He will also receive an award for $750 for winning the Grand Champion County Bred Heifer from Lind Charolais and Dr. Derek Grant. For winning Reserve Grand Champion County Bred Heifer, he will receive $250 and a plaque from Link Charolais and Dr. Derek Grant. Mackey Cattle Company received a plaque for being the breeder of the winning County Bred Heifers.
Kayleigh Scroggins of Timpson FFA showed the Grand Champion Breeding Ewe Lamb of the show. She won the Senior Showmanship class at the Lamb Show. The buckle is presented by Farm Bureau.
Sheldon Scroggins of Timpson FFA showed the Reserve Grand Champion Breeding Ewe Lamb of the show.
Caden Solomon won the Junior Showmanship Buckle at the Lamb Show which is awarded by Shelby County 4-H.
Haylon Powers received the Larry Hagler Memorial Scholarship of $500 for being the highest ranking senior.
Spring Break
The Timpson ISD will have spring break Monday March 14 – Friday March 18. School will be dismissed at regular time on Friday. Classes will resume at regular time Monday March 21.
