The top seven bands will perform again on Tuesday morning for the final round. Congratulations band on your outstanding performance at NAMMB and good luck in the State competition. The THS Head Band Director is Rhonda Daniel and Assistant Band Director is John Dupnik.

THS Varsity Football
Congratulations to the Timpson Varsity Bear football team for their victory over Mt. Enterprise 49 to 6. Varsity Bears remain undefeated in district play.

Everyone is encouraged to come out and support the Bears who will play Tenaha Friday November 10 at home starting at 7:00 p.m. Tenaha also remains undefeated.

This game determines which team wins district. Also in the pregame ceremony all veterans are invited to meet at the flagpole so that we may recognize and honor you for your service to our country. Veterans sitting in the stands will be asked to stand so that we may recognize you as well.

LBV Compete in Regional Quarter Finals

The Timpson High School Lady Bear Volleyball team will compete Tuesday at 7pm in Tatum in the regional quarterfinals. They will play Carlisle. Volleyball Head Coach James Foster said he is very proud of the team. Winning the bi-district and area competitions was the first time the Lady Bear Volleyball team has won a game in the state playoffs.

Coach Foster credits the wins to the team members working together as a team, their commitment to work out to develop strength and conditioning and their willingness to take instruction from the coaching staff and apply what they learn to their game.  Coach Foster also expressed his appreciation to the parents, TISD staff and community for their support of the team including their attendance at the games.

Coach Foster also expressed his appreciation to Assistant Coaches Teresa Jourden and Kristan Solomon for their hard work. Everyone is encouraged to come out in support of the Lady Bears as they go for their third win in the state play-off games.
