December 19, 2018 - Timpson ISD Bear Update
Middle School Awards Ceremony – The Middle School UIL awards ceremony will be today (Wednesday) @ 1:30pm in the Auditorium. Medals for the teams and individuals that placed in the UIL Academic Meet that was held in Joaquin last week will be presented at this ceremony.
TISD Student Job Fair - 11th and 12th graders attended a Job Fair on the Campus of TISD in the Event Center on 12/18/2018. Students did mock interviews with several of our STEM partnership businesses. Students were able to receive interview feedback as part of their work based opportunities. Businesses that attended the Job Fair were: Timpson ISD-Dr. Mid Johnson, Nacogdoches Chamber of Commerce, Watco, Light and Champion, Timpson ISD-Coach Therwhanger, Focus Care of Center, Texas State Bank, Spirit Outfitters, Coral Cactus, Texan Credit, Educational Consultant, and Nix Forest Industries. A special thank you to those that made this event a success and a great experience for our students.
