Weather Man Visits Elementary Students

James Granberry, Timpson Elementary School science teacher, invited chief meteorologist Todd Warren from KTAL TV Channel 6 in Shreveport to speak to his students. Mr. Warren taught the students about the water cycle. He had some of the students demonstrate about various parts such as thunder and lightning. He had a contest question and answer session between the boys and girls. They ended up tied. The students enjoyed seeing someone in person that they had only seen on television and learned a lot about the weather from Mr. Warrren's presentation.
