September 14, 2017 - Timpson ISD Bear Update
Lady Bear Volleyball
The TLB Volleyball team defeated San Augustine 3-0 on Tuesday. The Lady Bears are now 16-6 on the season and 2-0 in district. The next game is Friday in Timpson at 4:30 vs. Carlisle.
The JV Lady Bears lost a close match to San Augustine 1-2. The JV Lady Bears played well and are continuing to improve with each experience.
TLB Cross Country were Champions of the Broaddus Invitational on Wednesday. Competing for the Lady Bears were Sadie Ramsey 3rd, Ashton Harris 7th, Jaycee Campbell 9th, Harlie Ware, Kamryn Courtney, Sara Duke, and Laiton Braddock. Congrats to the TLB XC Team on winning the first meet of the season.
TLB JH Cross Country were also Champions of the Broaddus Invitational. Competing for the Lady Bears were Amiyah Soto 1st, McKenna Wynn 7th, Alleigh Campbell 13th, Kelly Garcia, Emma Ramsey, Celeste Bush, and Blair Askins. Congrats to the JH Lady Bear XC team on winning the first meet of the season.
The JH Boys Cross Country also had a great showing at the Broaddus Invitational. Competing for the Bears were Triton Kruse 10th, Carmen Flores 14th, Ahsiyah Patton, KT Washington, Kaden Solomon, Jaden Wyndham, and Josh Wagstaff. Congrats to the JH Bears XC Team.
THS Homecoming Court
The Timpson High School Homecoming Court has recently been elected. The duchesses and sweethearts will be presented and the Homecoming Queen crowned during the pre-game ceremonies at 7:00 p.m. at the Friday night September 15th homecoming football game. Congratulations to the duchesses and sweethearts.
