October 12, 2017 - Timpson ISD Bear Update

TISD Parent Involvement – Timpson ISD is committed to working with parents as partners to ensure students’ needs are met. TISD Superintendent Mid Johnson said the district staff will work to communicate with parents in a variety of ways to assist the parents in supporting their children’s education. Anytime a parent has a school related question or concern about their child they can call the campus secretary and make an appointment to talk or meet with the child’s teacher, counselor, principal or personnel that works with their child. Some of the ways the district keeps parents informed are:

  • Report cards and progress reports sent home
  • Notes sent home
  • Parent Portal where parents can view their child’s grades. To access parent portal call the building secretary and she will give you a password.
  • Bear Updates are emailed out throughout the week with information/photos, calendar of events etc. If you would like to receive Bear Updates through email please send your name and email address to Mid Johnson at mjohnson@timpsonisd.com and request to be added to the Bear Update list.
