November 8, 2018 - As a mark of solemn respect for the victims of the terrible act of violence perpetrated in Thousand Oaks, California, on November 7, 2018, the President of the United States has issued a Proclamation that the Flag of the United States be flown at half staff until sunset, Saturday, November 10, 2018.
All flags flying with the US Flag should also be lowered. If you have US Flag that remains outdoors and cannot be lowered, respect can be shown by tying a black ribbon or cord to the top of the staff.
