What is a Live Painting you are actually a part of?

January 18, 2019 - Live Painting is an original performance in which an artist over a short period of time, creates a painting in front of an audience, in this case both live at the gallery and live on line at the same time. An interactive experience. Unlike a traditional setting in which a painter works privately at a studio over an extended period of time and shares the work only after it is finished, live painting lets the audience watch the creative process unfold from beginning to completion and in this case actually be a part of the work, placing their own marks on the two giant canvas.

David Masterson is an artist who engages, entertains and welcomes the audience to become part of the creative process this Saturday, January 19 at the Davmar Gallery. David paints quickly and naturally picks up on the energy of the the people painting at his gallery and when he paints he paints boldly with vibrant colors and broad deliberate strokes. The transformations are quick and exciting, colors smash onto the canvas in all sorts of ways. So why not come in and be a part of this process and watch it unfold over 8 hours, then AT 6PM tune in LIVE see what we end up with... WOW!.

NOT FAIR- My artist friend from Cape Cod chime's in and says " We are not from Center but we want to play too!" No Problem

I have decided to stretch a third canvas "at the same time," under same format, but this canvas will be for people that have the ability to "Facetime" with me on my cell or call in and talk while you watch and direct me on line, LIVE. Like everyone else they will have 30 seconds to tell me the brush or method, the colors, the shapes or lines they want and where to place it on the canvas as I hold the phone so they can see the paintings or watch on line…… This painting will be strictly a collaboration between myself and the "on line - internet - cyber world - " both with people I know, and maybe even dont know.

BE BRAVE - Call in - 30 seconds is all its takes - - - 936 591 2971 is my cell. See you Saturday!
