December 8, 2017 Lufkin – Motorists in Nacogdoches could experience delays on US 59 at SL 224 in Nacogdoches next week as repair work begins near the intersection.
Moore Brothers Construction, Lufkin, is scheduled to begin mill and inlay operations on Monday near the signal light located on US 59 South at SL 224. The work will require daily alternate lane closures near the intersection.
Work should be completed within the week, weather permitting. Motorists are urged to obey signage and traffic detours throughout this work zone. Reduce speed and expect delays in peak travel hours as single lane traffic moves through the area.
