January 2, 2023 - The National Weather Service issued a tornado watch outline update for WT 1 from the NWS Storm Prediction Center, Norman, OK at 1:20 PM CST, Monday, January 2, 2023.
Tornado Watch 1 is in effect until 9:00pm CST for the following locations in Texas: Angelina, Bowie, Camp, Cass, Cherokee, Franklin, Gregg, Harrison, Marion, Morris, Nacogdoches, Panola, Red River, Rusk, San Augustine, Shelby, Smith, Titus, Upshur, and Wood.
January 2, 2023 - The National Weather Service issued a flood warning at 10:33pm, Sunday, January 1, 2023.

The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas... Attoyac Bayou Near Chireno affecting Nacogdoches, San Augustine, Rusk and Shelby Counties.
For the Attoyac Bayou... including Chireno... Minor flooding is forecast.
January 2, 2023 - The National Weather Service, Shreveport, LA issued a Flood Watch at 11:06pm, Sunday, January 1, 2023. The Flood Watch remains in effect from Monday afternoon through late Monday night.
* WHAT... Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
December 23, 2022 - The National Weather Service, Shreveport, LA advises the hard freeze warning remains in effect until noon Saturday, December 24.
For the Hard Freeze Warning, sub-freezing temperatures as low as 0 to 10 degrees this morning and in the low to mid teens once again tonight.
Areas impacted by the Hard Freeze is south central and southwest Arkansas, north central and northwest Louisiana, deep east and northeast Texas and southeast Oklahoma.
December 21, 2022 - The National Weather Service, Shreveport, LA issued an urgent weather message for a Hard Freeze Warning at 12:30pm on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 for counties in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas.
A Hard Freeze Warning is in effect from 6pm Thursday, December 22 until noon Saturday, December 24.
* WHAT... Sub-freezing temperatures ranging from 4 to 12 degrees possible. In addition, below freezing temperatures will linger for an extended period of time.
December 13, 2022 - The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a Tornado Warning for East central Nacogdoches County in eastern Texas, South central Shelby County in eastern Texas, Northern San Augustine County in eastern Texas until 5:15pm CST.
At 4:28 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 9 miles northeast of Etoile, or 21 miles southeast of Nacogdoches, moving northeast at 30 mph.
August 22, 2022 - The National Weather Service issued an updated Flood Watch at 3:03pm on Monday, August 22, 2022 stating the Flood Watch remains in effect through Tuesday evening.
Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible for portions of Louisiana and Texas, including the following counties and parishes, in Louisiana, Caldwell, Grant, La Salle, Natchitoches, Sabine and Winn, in Texas, Angelina, Cherokee, Nacogdoches, Sabine, San Augustine and Shelby through Tuesday evening.
August 21, 2022 - At 4:08pm, Sunday, August 21, 2022, the National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Southwestern Panola County in northeastern Texas, Southeastern Rusk County in northeastern Texas, and Northwestern Shelby County in eastern Texas until 5:00pm.
At 4:08pm, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles southeast of Minden, or 18 miles southeast of Henderson, moving northeast at 25 mph.
Radar indicated 60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
August 21, 2022 - The National Weather Service, Shreveport, Louisiana at 2:31pm, Sunday, August 21, 2022 issued a Flood Watch in effect through Monday evening.
