The Pizzeria Hosting Grand Re-opening Ribbon Cutting

July 17, 2023 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and staff at The Pizzeria invite the public to join them at a Grand Re-Opening Ribbon Cutting on Wednesday, August 2nd at 10:30am.

The Pizzeria is a family owned business since 1972 when Mike Jones first opened the doors. Since that time, The Pizzeria has been a favorite place to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, celebrate an athletic team win, and just spend time with friends and family while enjoying delicious food.

June 26, 2023 - The Chamber of Commerce Health Care Committee is hosting the June Lunch and Learn, Sponsored by Hope Community Medicine, on Wednesday, June 28th at noon at the AgriLife Extension Office. The guest speaker will be Mike Belgard. PA-C and CEO of Hope Community Medicine. He will talk about the upcoming Pharmacy, Sacks of Love (food distribution), and the Mobile Unit.

First Responders Appreciation Lunch Scheduled for May 19th

May 19, 2023 - Center Independent School District and the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors will host an Appreciation Lunch for First Responders, throughout Shelby County this Friday, May 19th between 11am and 1pm at the Center ISD Transportation Department.

First Responders including police officers, department of public safety officers, constables, Sheriff Deputies, firemen, medics, Game Wardens and law enforcement officials will be honored guests.

May Lunch and Learn to Highlight Mental Health Awareness

May 16, 2023 - The Chamber of Commerce Health Care Committee is hosting the May Lunch and Learn on Wednesday, May 24th at noon at the AgriLife Extension Office. The guest speaker for May will be Charlotte Stanaland, Youth Prevention Specialist at the The Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council of Deep East Texas.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to prioritize self-care. Mental and physical health are equally important components for overall health.
