January 1, 2019 - Sunday was the First Sunday after Christmas. A Happy New Year greeting from all your friends at Paxton Methodist. We wish that 2019 will be a year of spiritual growth and health. Sunday morning was cold, and it looks like East Texas is in for more rain. I remember this summer wishing we would get some much-needed rain. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could save this rain until July and August—and maybe some of the cold temperatures too!
April 19, 2018 - A community garage and bake sale is Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 8am until 2pm on Loop 500 in Center. Come on out to the loop in Center to help a group of local girls go to a hair show in Galveston. Help make the dreams of your future local cosmetologist further their education at the Armstrong McCall hair show. There will be lots of kid items, women clothing, and beautiful house hold items.
Come out and get some homemade baked goods, cookies, cakes, pies!! Yummy! Hope to see you there.
