January 11, 2021 - Due to concerns about a potential refreeze, the morning fog, and families still trying to get electricity back, Tenaha ISD will resume classes tomorrow, January 12 at 10am. Buses will run 2 hours later than usual time. Staff report at 9:30am.
Please use extreme caution on all roadways as temperatures will remain below freezing, but no additional precipitation is expected.
January 5, 2020 - The Tenaha Tigers' soccer season is underway! The girls team started off the season with a win against Palestine Westwood 4-0.

January 1, 2021 - Tenaha Schools will join 1,024 school districts throughout Texas to celebrate January as School Board Recognition Month, Superintendent Scott Tyner announced December 28, 2020.
“Our school board members are volunteers who shoulder critical responsibilities and often make difficult choices for our district, all without pay. Their goal is always focused on the future success of the children in our district,” Mr. Tyner stated. “Celebrating School Board Recognition Month is one way to say thanks for all they do.”

December 9, 2020 - So, last week while learning letter Ss, Pre-K 4 read the story “Seal’s Silly Sandwich”! Today, they made their own silly sandwiches called Strawberry cream cheese/banana Sammies made with waffles instead of bread!
They loved them and wanted more; they are willing to try anything! The kids have made and eaten peanut butter and potato chip sandwiches (Pp), and even tried olives (Oo)!! The giggles and smiles are contagious y’all! Wonder what they’ll eat next??
