Tenaha ISD Board of Trustees Public Notice of Called Public Hearing to Discuss the FIRST Report

October 11, 2021 - A Called Public Hearing to Discuss the FIRST Report of the Board of Trustees of Tenaha Independent School District will be held Monday, October 18, 2021, beginning at 5:15 PM in the Boardroom of the Administration Office 138 College Street.

The subjects to be discussed, considered, or upon which any formal action may be taken are listed below. Items do not have to be taken in the same order as shown on this meeting notice. Unless removed from the consent agenda, items identified within the consent agenda will be acted on at one time.

17th Annual Tenaha Tiger Hall of Honor Inductees: Cynthia "Sam" Kay and Phyllis Thompson

September 14, 2021 - The 17th Annual Tenaha Tiger Hall of Honor Induction Ceremony will be in the Tenaha Cafetorium  at 9:30 am on October 2, 2021. Family and Former Hall of Honor Members are welcomed to attend.

The Homecoming Parade will follow at 11am, followed by the introduction of our recipients prior to the Tigers vs Colmesneil Game in the Raymond Jackson Stadium beginning at 2:00 pm.

Tenaha ISD Notice of Request for Proposals

September 14, 2021 - Tenaha ISD hereby publishes notice of its Request for Proposals to purchase the surface estate of a minimum amount of 14 acres and up to 17 acres of improved land located at 825 M. L. Anderson Drive, Tenaha, Texas 75974.

Seamless Summer Option Free Meals in Tenaha ISD School Year 2021-2022 (English/Spanish)

August 20, 2021 - Tenaha ISD announced its policy today that this school year, healthy meals will be offered every school day to all students at no cost. Typically, a student’s household must meet income eligibility requirements to qualify for free or reduced-price meals. However, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) issued guidance that allows schools to offer meals to all students at no cost for the 2021-2022 school year. Each school/site or central office has a copy of the policy, which may be reviewed upon request.
